The Old Stone Music and Coffee House

The Old Stone Music and Coffee House – Join us on Friday, October 4th for a night of great music by No Time Lost. They will be performing from 8-10 pm. Doors open at 7:30. $10 cover charge, which includes entry and unlimited coffee, tea, a cold drink and some yummy baked goodies. BYOBOW is allowed. Bring a donation for the CUMAC food pantry, and you'll be entered in a drawing to get your cover charge back. Flyer.

The Old Stone Music and Coffee House – Crying on the Camino

The Old Stone Music and Coffee House – Crying on the Camino, this is a special event on Sunday, October 6th, at 2 p.m. Stage performer, Celeste Mancinelli has an extremely funny and deeply moving story to tell in this One Woman Show. Celeste's show recounts her 200-mile walk on the Portuguese Route to Santiago de Compostela. “This piece is about minimalism and simplicity, self-reflection and honesty,” says Mancinelli, a veteran stage actress. “In sharing this piece my goal is to inspire others to take their own journey – to fully live their own Caminos.”  Tickets are $20 and should be paid in advance to the church office. Payment can be sent to Franklin Lakes UMC, 454 Pulis Ave, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. Lorrimer Sanctuary

Summer Camps: June 24th – August 31st, pre-k-8th grade.

New Jersey Audubon’s Lorrimer Sanctuary offers 9 weeks of awesome camp experiences for your child! Each week is a different nature topic for our campers, with opportunities for pre-k kids and teens!

Tiny Tots – Summer Series: Thursdays 3:00pm for toddlers and their grownups, 18m to 3.5yrs. $6/member $7/nonmember

We welcome a new generation of budding naturalists to Lorrimer Sanctuary for this "grown-up-and-me" style program. We will read books, explore outside, and learn about nature in age-appropriate ways for littles!

Summer Sendoff Campfire: Thursday August 29th at 6:00 pm, $8/member child, $9/nonmember child

Join the Lorrimer Sanctuary staff for a campfire summer sendoff! We’ll be roasting marshmallows and making s’mores over an open fire while we tell tales of fun at summer camp! We’ll be playing camp favorite games with kids and parents alike, and searching for clues along the trails during our scavenger hunt.

Children must be accompanied by an adult, this is not a drop-off program.

To participate in the scavenger hunt and some games, participants must be able to hike roughly 0.5 miles over gravel trail terrain.

Fall Break at Lorrimer Sanctuary: $65; Kindergarten to 3rd grade, November 7th and 8th  9am-1pm

Join us for a fun-filled Fall Break at Lorrimer Sanctuary – a perfect way to enjoy the autumn season with outdoor activities and nature. Get ready for exciting outdoor activities, nature walks, and hands-on experiences for kids in kindergarten to 3rd grade. Explore the wonders of the sanctuary, learn about local wildlife, and make new friends in a safe and welcoming environment. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to create lasting memories this fall break!

This program is geared for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade (roughly 5y-9y). This program will take place mainly outdoors and participants should dress appropriately for weather conditions including closed-toed shoes. Participants should bring a lunch and reusable water bottle.
