Garbage Schedule
April through September - Twice a Week
October through March - Once a Week

From April through September, garbage is collected twice a week, either on a Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday schedule. From October through March, garbage is collected once per week, either on Monday or Tuesday depending on your normal schedule. Schedule by streets.

• Remember to keep bears away with good garbage habits. If you live in areas where black bears have been sighted, secure your trash containers and place them curbside as close to pick-up time as possible. Wash or spray trash containers with a disinfectant in order to eliminate food odors.
• All garbage and trash shall be thoroughly drained of all liquid and placed in a non-leaking receptacle.
• Each homeowner is allowed a maximum of four (4) rigid reusable plastic or metal containers at the curb. The container shall not be any larger than 64 gallons (volume) and shall weigh no more than 50 pounds.
• Garbage should be placed in garbage cans, containers or plastic bags. Garbage left in cardboard boxes will not be collected. Garbage must be placed at the curb no earlier than 3:00 PM the evening before the collection day or no later than 6:00 AM the morning of the collection. All empty cans and containers must be removed by 7:00 PM on collection day.
