Chanukah Lighting Ceremony

On Sunday, December 14, Chabad NWBC hosted their annual Chanukah Lighting Ceremony. Although high winds and snow prevented the helicopter from landing, the winter weather created a beautiful backdrop for this cherished community tradition.

The celebration centered on the lighting of the Borough Menorah by Rabbi Kaplan. Community members of all ages enjoyed lighting the giant Menorah, singing and dancing with mascots, festive light-up giveaways, crafts, and traditional holiday refreshments, including potato latkes, hot chocolate, and donuts.
