Grant for "Jake's Law" Playground Approved
From Community Director Dina Robinson
The Borough was recently informed that its application for a matching grant for a fully inclusive playground has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the Garden State Preservation Trust. The grant for $750,000 will fund 75% of the cost of the playground, which will replace the existing playground at the Pulis Avenue field. These grants provide funding for municipalities to build inclusive playgrounds for children and adults with and without disabilities pursuant to “Jake’s Law.” See more information below on Jake’s Law.
