Business Owners & Rental Unit Owners: Certificate of Liability Insurance Filing

In compliance with N.J.S.A. 40:A:10A-1, et seq., all business owners and rental unit owners must annually file a registration form and Certificate of Liability Insurance with the Borough Clerk.
Insurance Coverage Requirements:
• $500,000: For owners of businesses or rental units.
• $300,000: For owners of multifamily homes with up to four units, provided one unit is occupied by the owner.
