What a fantastic day of basketball, over 120 players hit the courts last weekend from Franklin Lakes and so many surrounding towns! The Mayors Wellness Campaign would like to thank all who were able to participate in some way. Huge thank you to our sponsors: Columbia Bank, C2 Education, Phantom DJ, La Neves, Lakes Skin Center, Graze Craze, Parisi, Field Turf, and all who donated prizes to our winning brackets, all of our Volunteers and of course the players. We are able to make a $4,500 donation to the Abouzid Family with all of love and support we received for our community and surrounding towns. “Mo” Abouzid was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare disorder of progressive muscular weakness. Mo did not allow this illness to define him. He was always an inspirational force of positivity and optimism. On January 2, 2024, 16 year old Mo lost his battle. Photo Album.
