Officers were dispatched to a business on Franklin Avenue in response to a report of a suspicious male attempting to reclaim a lost credit card. Employees of the establishment determined that the individual was being untruthful, denied his request, and contacted FLPD. Upon arrival, PO Foschini conducted an investigation and identified the suspect. A complaint warrant was issued for Aisaih ALVAREZ age 27 of Englewood, NJ charging him with criminal attempt, theft by deception, impersonation, and credit card theft. At approximately 9:00 PM, the New Jersey State Police notified FLPD that they had arrested ALVAREZ. FLPD officers received custody of ALVAREZ and he was subsequently transported to the Bergen County Jail.
