investigation on Franklin Lake Road, Omariah A. Mclean, age 23 of Paterson, NJ was arrested for a warrant

As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt. 208 South near Summit Avenue, Benjamin KING, age 42 of Bayonne, NJ was arrested for a warrant emanating from Saddle Brook, NJ. PO O’Connor and Sgt Pellegrino investigated.
Officers responded to Franklin Avenue near Old Mill Road for a reported two-car motor vehicle crash involving a 2018 grey Mazda M3 and a 2018 white Volkswagen GTI. Further investigation determined that Amrita RAMESH, age 23, of Fair Lawn, NJ, was operating the Mazda under the influence. RAMESH was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence and issued multiple traffic summonses. No injuries were reported. PO Lauritano and Sgt Knubel investigated. Franklin Lakes officers were dispatched to a Briarly Dr residence on a reported smoke condition. Officers confirmed the roof was on fire, Franklin Lakes Fire Department responded and extinguished the flames. PO Heffner and PO Iandoli responded.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Lawlins Road near Franklin Avenue, Jessica A. ROJAS age 45 of Haledon, NJ was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension. Officers discovered ROJAS had warrants emanating from North Haledon, Ridgewood and Haledon NJ, defendant was released on a summons and issued multiple traffic summonses. As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt. 208 North near Colonial Rd, Jamie C. Dropp, age 47 of Lebanon, NJ was arrested for warrants emanating from Phillipsburg and Surf City Boro, NJ. Sgt. Pellegrino and PO O’Connor investigated.
Franklin Lakes Officers were dispatched to a single-car motor vehicle crash on Colonial Rd near Rt 208. Upon arrival, they located a black 2009 Chevy Silverado. After further investigation, Nicholas MUSUMECI age 37 of Oakland, NJ was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. MUSUMECI was also issued multiple traffic summonses. Franklin Lakes Officers were dispatched to a single-car motor vehicle crash on Colonial Rd near Sioux Lane. Upon arrival, they located a white 2021 Jeep Cherokee. After further investigation, Linda ALTER age 50 of Franklin Lakes, NJ was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. ALTER was also issued multiple traffic summonses. Franklin Lakes officers were dispatched to the intersection of Pulis Ave and Susquehanna Ave on a reported driver sleeping behind the wheel of their vehicle. Officers located a black 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer on Pulis Avenue. Following an investigation, Kai A. SCHRAVEN, a 23-year-old Budd Lake resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. The driver was also issued multiple motor vehicle summonses. PO Heffner and PO Coia investigated. As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Colonial Road, Andre S. THOMAS, age 36 of Englewood, NJ was arrested on an outstanding warrant emanating from Teaneck, NJ. Teaneck Police Department responded to headquarters and received custody of THOMAS. PO Smith and PO Rosado investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on a white 2021 Nissan Sentra traveling on Route 208 South near Ewing Avenue, Dashawn L. KLINE age 33 of Paterson, NJ was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Paterson, NJ. During the course of the investigation, it was further determined that KLINE, the driver and only occupant, was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS). KLINE was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. He was charged with possession of CDS and possession with intent to distribute. KLINE, was also issued multiple traffic summonses and subsequently remanded to the Bergen County Jail. Sgt. Pellegrino and PO O’Connor investigated. As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Old Mill Road, Edgar RUEDASARANGO, age 56 of College Point, NY was arrested on an outstanding warrant emanating from Allamuchy Twp, NJ. PO O’Connor and PO Smith investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt. 208 North near Colonial Rd, Miguel A. ORTIZ, age 25 of Paterson, NJ was arrested on an outstanding warrant emanating from Paterson, NJ. PO O’Connor and Sgt. Pellegrino investigated.
Officers responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the middle of the roadway on the Rt 208 South exit ramp to High Mountain Road. Upon arrival, officers located William E. GILBERT age 38 of Lagrangeville, NY the driver of a 2017 gray Chrysler Pacifica. Further investigation determined that GILBERT was operating the vehicle under the influence and was subsequently placed under arrest. GILBERT was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and issued multiple traffic summonses. PO Garrison and Sgt. Blum investigated. Officers responded to the area of Lynn Drive for a report of a person sitting on the curb for an extended period of time. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject who stated he was traveling on foot through town. Further investigation revealed that Christopher COHEN, age 47 of Ringwood, NJ had an outstanding warrant emanating from Ringwood, NJ. COHEN was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to headquarters. No medical attention was required. Ringwood Police responded to headquarters and received custody of COHEN. Sgt. Pellegrino and PO Geyer investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt. 208 North near Colonial Rd, Adonis ZAPATAMENDEZ, age 29 of Passaic, NJ was arrested on an outstanding warrant emanating from Hackensack, NJ. PO Sweeney investigated.
Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at 100 Parsons Pond Road. Further investigation revealed that an unknown individual or individuals had unlawfully entered the building. While inside, they discharged multiple fire extinguishers, which triggered the alarm system. The unlawful persons fled the building prior to our arrival. There were no signs of fire, and no injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
As a result of an active warrant issued by the Honesdale Police Department in Pennsylvania. Alfred J. WEICK age 35 of Franklin Lakes, NJ was arrested and taken into custody. WEICK was subsequently remanded to the Bergen County Jail. PO Geyer and Sgt. Pellegrino investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt. 208 North near Colonial Road, Delquan HALL, age 33 of Saddle Brook, NJ was arrested for warrants emanating from Saddle Brook and Passaic County Sheriff’s Department, NJ. Passaic County Sheriff’s Department responded to headquarters and received custody of HALL. PO Smith and Sgt. Zangara investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt. 208 South near Ewing Ave, Kewon J. LOWE, age 32 of Paterson, NJ was arrested for a warrant emanating from Paterson, NJ. PO O’Connor and PO Shutrop investigated.

RUBENSTEIN age 56 of Kingston, NY was arrested and charged for driving while intoxicated and possession of CDS. RUBENSTEIN was issued multiple traffic summonses. As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Northwood Drive of a gold 1995 Toyota Camry, Michael R. WALLACE age 34 of Oakland, NJ was arrested for outstanding warrants emanating from Paterson, NJ and North Haledon, NJ. PO Foschini investigated.
Officers responded to a Huckleberry Ln residence to investigate a package theft. Victim reports an unknown male suspect removed a package from his front steps. PO Lauritano investigated. This case is still under investigation.

As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Ewing Avenue, Natalie SILVA, age 35 of Mahwah, NJ was arrested for a warrant emanating from Newark, NJ. PO O’Connor and Sgt. Pellegrino investigated.
During the course of a previous motor vehicle burglary investigation on Forsythia Ct, Oakland PD was requested to assist Franklin Lakes PD officers search and canvass surrounding neighborhoods. Oakland PD officers alerted FLPD to a Briarwoods Rd residence where they observed indications of an additional motor vehicle burglary. Officers discovered two unsecured motor vehicles were entered at the Briarwoods Rd residence. Det. C. O’Brien investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Ewing Avenue , Angelo RODRIGUEZ, age 45 of Paterson, NJ was arrested for a warrant emanating from Wayne, NJ. PO Garrison and PO Lauritano investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt. 208 North near Colonial Road , Gean RETUERTOCHUMPE, age 34 of Paterson, NJ was arrested for a warrant emanating from Prospect Park, NJ. Sgt. Zangara and PO Foschini investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Old Mill Road, Santos CARRERAS, age 40 of Allentown, PA was arrested for a warrant emanating from Old Bridge Twp, NJ. Sgt. Blum and PO Sweeney investigated.
Franklin Lakes Police were dispatched to 756 Ryerson Avenue for a report of smoke in the garage. Upon arrival, smoke was observed coming from the garage area, along with a visibly burnt-out electrical panel. Officers conducted a safety sweep to ensure the residence was unoccupied. Shortly thereafter, the Franklin Lakes Fire Department arrived on scene to investigate. The Fire Department requested additional support from Orange and Rockland Utilities and the Bergen County Hazmat Team. No injuries were reported, and only minor damage was sustained to the garage. This incident remains under investigation.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt. 208 North near Colonial Road,Troy BROWN, age 59 of Bronx, NY was arrested for a warrant emanating from Willingboro Twp, NJ. PO Foschini and Sgt. Zangara investigated.
As a result of an investigation initiated when, Aida A. OJEDACHAUCA, age 36 of Bloomfield, NJ responded to headquarters to retrieve her impounded vehicle, it was determined that OJEDACHAUCA had a warrant emanating from Newark, NJ. OJEDACHAUCA was taken into custody and subsequently released upon satisfying the conditions of the warrant. PO Iandoli and Sgt. Zangara investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Colonial Road,Jameek L. GOODWIN, age 31 of Paterson, NJ was arrested for a warrant emanating from Elmwood Park, NJ. PO Iandoli and Sgt. Zangara investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Franklin Avenue of a Grey 2023 Honda Accord, Daniel J. Babuska age 39, of Oakland NJ was arrested and charged for driving while intoxicated and issued multiple summonses. PO Coia, Sgt. Klein and PO Heffner investigated. As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Pulis Ave, Cesar V. GUTAMAZUMBA, age 44 of Montclair, NJ was arrested for a warrants emanating from Elmwood Park, Hawthorne, Wanaque and Wayne NJ. Elmwood Park PD responded to headquarters and received custody of GUTAMAZUMBA. PO Lauritano and PO Garrison investigated.
During a routine patrol, Officer Coia encountered a disabled vehicle on Colonial Road. The driver, Catherine J. HOLT age 23 of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ informed the officer that she had run out of gas. Upon further investigation, it was determined that HOLT was operating the vehicle under the influence. HOLT was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and issued multiple traffic summonses. PO Coia and PO Heffner investigated. Franklin Lakes Police received a call for a motor vehicle crash involving an unoccupied parked vehicle near Franklin Ave and Pulis Ave. The caller reported the suspect vehicle had left the scene. Officers were quickly able to locate the suspect vehicle that had struck the parked vehicle. Their investigation revealed that the driver of a white 2023 Honda Accord, Arlene E. MUTZBERG age 69 of Franklin Lakes, NJ was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence and issued multiple traffic summonses. There were no injuries to report. PO Garrison and PO Rosado investigated. As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on I-287 south on a 2024 Isuzu FTR Truck, Joseph Williams III age 31 of Somerset, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant emanating from Edison, NJ. PO Iandoli investigated.
Franklin Lakes PD identified two household residents with outstanding warrants. Officers arrived at the residence and placed Alize T. GEORGE age 27 of Franklin Lakes, NJ under arrest for a warrant emanating from Jersey City, NJ and Anthony J. WAYE age 33 of Franklin Lakes, NJ under arrest for a warrant emanating from Hudson County without incident. GEORGE was released to Jersey City Police and WAYE was released to Hudson County Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Blum, PO Sweeney and PO Lauritano investigated.

As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt 208 North, Bryant SANTIBANEZ, age 26 of Paterson, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant emanating from Paterson, NJ. Paterson PD responded to headquarters and received custody of SANTIBANEZ. PO Shutrop investigated.
Franklin Lakes PD was contacted by New Jersey State Police – Garden State Parkway Bloomfield Barracks advising troopers arrested Erick M. GONZALEZ-COLON age 33 of Hackensack, NJ for an outstanding warrant emanating from Franklin Lakes, NJ. FLPD officers received custody of GONZALEZ-COLON and he was transported to the Bergen County Jail.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt 287 of a green 2004 Honda Odyssey, Alex F. ROMANRIVERA age 49 of Haledon, NJ was arrested for outstanding warrants emanating from Wayne, NJ and Lincoln Park, NJ. PO Iandoli investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on a black 2015 Jeep Compass on Summit Ave, Maikel M. CAMACHO age 33 of Paterson, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant emanating from Franklin Lakes, NJ. PO Garrison and PO Sweeney investigated.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on Rt 208 south of a grey 2019 Toyota Tundra, Joshua D. NATALIE age 39 of Washington Twp, NJ was charged and arrested for driving while intoxicated and issued multiple summonses including refusing to submit to breath testing. PO Garrison, Sgt. Blum and PO Lauritano investigated. Officers were dispatched to a business on Franklin Avenue in response to a report of a suspicious male attempting to reclaim a lost credit card. Employees of the establishment determined that the individual was being untruthful, denied his request, and contacted FLPD. Upon arrival, PO Foschini conducted an investigation and identified the suspect. A complaint warrant was issued for Aisaih ALVAREZ age 27 of Englewood, NJ charging him with criminal attempt, theft by deception, impersonation, and credit card theft. At approximately 9:00 PM, the New Jersey State Police notified FLPD that they had arrested ALVAREZ. FLPD officers received custody of ALVAREZ and he was subsequently transported to the Bergen County Jail. Officers were dispatched to a Juniper Pl residence to investigate an activated residential burglar alarm. Officers observed forcible entry was made into the unoccupied home and confirmed the home was burglarized. Det. Sgt. Rynander is investigating with the assistance of Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on a grey 2009 Honda Civic on Rt 208 south, Kyle ENNIS age 35 of Kingston, NY and Cassie C. CROWLEY age 34 of Kingston, NY were arrested and charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. CROWLEY was issued multiple traffic summonses. PO Garrison, Sgt. As a result of a motor vehicle stop investigation on a silver 2003 Honda Accord on Rt 208 north, Leonardo E. CAMEROROJAS age 26 of Paterson, NJ was arrested for outstanding warrants emanating from Closter, NJ and Wayne, NJ. PO O’Connor and Sgt. Pellegrino investigated.
During Municipal Court proceedings, it was discovered that Alexis K. FERRARA age 41 of Wayne, NJ had an outstanding warrant emanating from Wayne, NJ. Additionally, the defendant was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. FERRARA was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and remanded to the Bergen County Jail. Criminal charges and traffic violations are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. MILLS age 48 of North Haledon was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and issued multiple summonses.
