Franklin Lakes Community Garden

Franklin Lakes Community Garden
From the Environmental Commission

Thank you to our volunteers for picking vegetables in the Borough’s organic Community Garden located at McBride Field. We harvested lots of collards and kale, a few squash and eggplant, and a few green beans! The vegetables grown in the garden are donated to those in need through CUMAC in Paterson, NJ.

If you would like to volunteer to weed and harvest, email Lana King or Linda Altomare to offer some time, either individually or with family and friends. Come for an hour or more, depending on your schedule. Visit the Community Garden Brochure for more information! Also make sure to check these photos of the volunteers and the products of their hardwork!
