It is Spring and time for New Jersey bears to end their long Winter fast and to begin foraging for food wherever they can find it. Those of us who have had their garbage cans overturned, their bird feeders thrown to the ground or, in any other way been made aware of their presence know that residents must be vigilant to protect their property and their safety.
