On May 17, 2022, the Mayor and Council adopted Ordinance 1873 which amends cat license fees to align with dog licensing fees and amends the licensing deadline date to March 31.

Any 2021 cat license is now amended to expire on March 31, 2023, and no fees will be charged until the next renewal period beginning March 1, 2023. New cats over 5 months of age must be licensed and licensing can be done throughout the year. Fees for altered cats are $11, unaltered cats $14. Seniors (62 or older) pay a flat fee of $6 for a maximum of four cats and $11 per cat for each cat in excess of four. The late fee for pets licensed after March 31 is $10.

2023 Pet Licensing: You will receive a renewal notice on or about March 1, 2023 to apply for a 2023 Pet License due by March 31, 2023. Pets will need to have a rabies vaccination valid through January 1, 2024 to receive the 2023 license.
