Benefits Check Up is a free and easy-to-use web-based service that allows older Americans, their families, care givers, and community organizations to quickly and easily determine what benefits they qualify for and how to claim them. BenefitsCheckUp identifies federal and state assistance programs for older Americans.

Bergen County SAVVERS Discount Program
The SAVVERS Discount Program is a FREE program created by the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders and County Executive to provide discounts and services for Bergen County Seniors, military Veterans, Volunteers, Active Military Personnel, Emergency Responders, and their families.

Each eligible person and family member who signs up for the program will receive a membership ID card to present to participating businesses and professionals in order to receive their discount. There is no cost to become a member of SAVVERS.

Honorary Service Cards for Military Veterans
The Office of the Bergen County Clerk is issuing Honorary Service Cards to Bergen County Military Veterans. The cards can be used at participating businesses and organizations which provide discounts to Veterans.  In order to obtain a photo ID card, applicants must bring a copy of their DD214 to Room 120 in the Passport Office at the Bergen County Clerk's Office. Senior Citizen Golden Key Card
Bergen County Clerk's Office offers the Senior Citizen Golden Key Card to individuals 60 years of age or older. Many businesses and organizations in Bergen County are currently offering discounts to seniors, and this card should only be used where it is accepted.
