Franklin Lakes Community Director Dina Robinson Awarded Mayors Wellness Campaign "Champion of Health"

The New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute (“NJHCQI”) administers the state-wide Mayors Wellness Campaign (“MWC”) program. NJHCQI recently recognized Dina Robinson, the Franklin Lakes Community Director and Mayors Wellness Coordinator, as the MWC “Champion of Health” for 2024. The Champion of Health award recognizes the incredible individuals who help move Mayors Wellness Campaign initiatives forward. It recognizes those who are passionate about improving the health and wellness in the community.

Franklin Lakes Mayor Charlies J.X. Kahwaty nominated Dina. In her position as Community Director and Mayors Wellness Coordinator, Dina oversees, plans, organizes and directs the Borough’s recreation sports programs, and community events, as well as the Borough’s MWC programing. Dina’s ability to build relationships results in meaningful and longstanding partnerships with health and wellness organizations in the community.

Mayor Kahwaty comments, “Dina’s passion for health and wellness and her community is evident to anyone who knows her. She is energetic, hardworking, and dedicated to improving not only the physical health of Franklin Lakes residents, but their mental health as well.” Dina is an asset to the Mayors Wellness Campaign and serves as a leader and advocate for the program statewide.

Mayor Kahwaty will present Dina with a plaque from the NJHCQI at the January 21, 2025 Mayor and Council meeting recognizing Dina as the 2024 “Champion of Health,” a most prestigious award.
