Toys For Tots Collection - December 1 to 14
Operation Toy Train Pick up, Saturday, December 14 at 11:50 AM
The Mayors Wellness Campaign along with the Girl Scout and Sunrise Senior Living are collecting toys for Operation Toy Train’s Toys For Tots program who’s mission is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. Please help us by donating! We hope to make this year the best to date as Operation Toy Train for the first time will be stopping in Franklin Lakes on December 14th. The train will be stopping at 803 Susquehanna Ave. (in the Cul-de-Sac) 11:50 AM to 12:05 pm.
While Toys for Tots Coordinators organize, coordinate and manage the campaign, the ultimate success depends on the support of the local community and the generosity of the people who donate toys.
Drop Off Locations: Under the leadership of the Girl Scouts all K-8 schools, Borough Hall, The Franklin Lakes Public Library, the Recreation Department, Franklin Lakes Sunrise Senior Living will all have a box to drop off a new unwrapped toy. The Girl Scouts will have a booth set up at the Annual Christmas Tree lighting Ceremony on December 9th. Flyer.
We have extra boxes if your business would like to also collect, email drobinson@franklinlakes.org for more information!
