Meet the Mayor - SAVE THE DATE

In-Person and Facebook Live

On Thursday, April 23, at 7:00 PM, in the Council Chambers at Borough Hall, Mayor Charlie Kahwaty will be hosting a "Meet the Mayor" session - a question and answer session on issues of interest to Borough residents. There are no specific topics for discussion at this meeting. He will answer your questions about the Borough and talk about what’s going on in town. It is intended to be a free-flowing discussion, so come with your questions on any issues of interest or concern to you or your neighbors.  

This session will also be live-streamed on Facebook Live. To participate on Facebook Live, all you need to do is go to the Borough’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/FranklinLakes). In real time, you will be able to type in questions and Mayor Kahwaty will respond to those questions in the order that they are received. In this way, even from home, you can see and hear Mayor Kahwaty address issues that are on residents’ minds. If he is unable to answer all questions within the “Meet the Mayor” session, he will respond off-line to your questions.  

It would be very helpful to provide any questions that you have in advance. Mayor Kahwaty will then share the question and respond so that the in-person audience and Facebook Live audience will both get to hear the Mayor’s response. Please provide questions in advance via email to webteam@franklinlakes.org.
