PULIS AVENUE ROAD CLOSURE

NOTICE: The intersection of Pulis Avenue and Old Mill Road will be CLOSED on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 12/3/2025 to 12/5/2025, from 7am until approximately 5pm for utility work.

Traffic to Pulis Avenue from Franklin Avenue will be for local traffic ONLY, allowed for residents and businesses on or off Pulis Avenue between Franklin Avenue and Anntaramiss Lane. If you are not utilizing Pulis Avenue for those purposes:

• For vehicles over 5 tons in weight, follow Franklin Avenue East until you reach Wyckoff Avenue. Turn left onto Wyckoff Avenue, then turn left onto Pulis Avenue.

• For all other vehicles, follow Franklin Avenue East until you reach Old Mill Road. Turn left onto Old Mill Road, then turn right onto Woodside Avenue, which will lead you to Pulis Avenue.

Vehicles traveling South on Pulis Avenue will be able to travel up to the Old Mill Road intersection, then will be directed to turn left onto Old Mill Road. From there, ALL vehicles will be turning left (heading East) onto Old Mill Road.

Vehicles traveling West on Old Mill Road will be detoured at Woodside Avenue to continue onto Pulis Avenue. Traffic on Old Mill Road between Woodside Avenue and Pulis Avenue will be allowed ONLY for residents. All traffic in that area will then be directed Eastbound away from Pulis Avenue and towards Woodside Avenue.

The detour routes will be clearly marked with MUTCD compliant signs, and Police personnel will be on hand to assist with directions. It is recommended that motorists allow extra time and use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion and delays.
