The Franklin Lakes Mayors Wellness Campaign will host a Blood Drive on Tuesday, July 15. We are once again joining Jacqueline Pagano as she honors the legacy of her Mother, Jessica Pagano and other Franklin Lakes Residents. This Blood Drive will hosted in Memory of Marcelo Gualda. A loving father to three children, devoted husband, beloved son, caring brother, cherished uncle, and trusted worker. Marcelo bravely battled pancreatic cancer until he passed away on Mon April 1, 2024. Join us in celebrating Marcelo’s LIFE! Your blood donation will take part in saving a human life, and continue Marcelo’s spirit of hope and generosity. Every drop counts. Thank you for honoring Marcelo’s memory and helping to make a positive impact on the lives of others, Jacqueline is asking donors of all ages, especially younger donors, to come out and support her in the quest to reach the younger generation to help the critical need for blood donations. Jacqueline stated, “Together, let’s make a meaningful impact and continue the legacy of love and compassion my Mom left behind.”
Donating blood is safe and easy to do, but there are a few basic requirements to donate blood. If you're in good health and meet the general eligibility blood donation requirements, then you are likely able to give blood. There is a critical need for blood. Remember, "Because of you, life doesn't stop."
