2025 Commuter Parking Permits for the Franklin Lakes Commuter Parking Lot at Parsons Pond Park are now available. Active commuters with a valid email address on file have been sent renewal notices. Follow the link in the email to renew through the SDL Portal.
Upon acceptance of your application, an invoice confirming fees and payment options will be emailed to you from SDL Portal<no-reply@sdlportal.com>. Renewals paid online or through the mail will be mailed a 2025 sticker. Please apply the sticker to your existing hangtag.

- 2025 Rates: Resident $50; Non-Resident $310; Replacement Tag $10
- Convenience Fees: Credit Card Payments $3; Online E-Checks $1.50
- Cash Not Accepted – checks may be made payable to Borough of Franklin Lakes
- For resident rate, a current utility bill as proof of residency is required
- All commuters must submit application and vehicle registration(s)
- Parking Tags are issued on a first-come-first-served basis
- No more than 40 non-resident parking permits will be issued
- Parking tag must be displayed on rearview mirror when parked in lot with tag number facing out to enable it to be read through the front of the vehicle
- Issuance of a parking tag does not guarantee a parking space will be available
