Annual Food & Funds Drive Expanded – Local Pantries Experiencing Unprecedented Demand

Franklin Lakes Borough employees invite you to help our neighbors by supporting our 2025 Annual Food and Funds Drive. This year, the need in our community is greater than ever. The recent government shutdown and uncertainty surrounding SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits have left many families facing increased food insecurity. Families who rely on federal food assistance are struggling to put meals on the table, and our local food pantries are experiencing unprecedented demand.

In response to this crisis, we're expanding our collection efforts to make it easier for everyone to contribute.

Drop off non-perishable, unexpired food donations at Borough Hall 480 DeKorte Drive Monday -Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Most needed items: • Canned fruit • Canned vegetables • Hearty soup • Stuffing • Rice (white, brown, wild) • Macaroni and cheese • Coffee & tea • Spaghetti Sauce • Pasta • Chef Boyardee or canned pastas • Cereal • Canned ham • Canned tuna or chicken • Crackers • Soup • Ramen • Beans.

Non-perishable unexpired food donations may also be made directly to the following locations local to Franklin Lakes:
