Mission Statement
The Franklin Lakes Recreation and Parks Department is committed to providing our residents, both the young and the young-at-heart, with programs and facilities that foster a sense of community, sportsmanship, and well-being. Recreation activities should be safe, fun, and healthy for all children. This Department promotes the value and importance of sports and physical activities in the emotional, physical, social, and mental developments of our youth. Participation in sports and activities helps to develop important character traits and lifelong values. When adults involved have proper training and information, the lives of our youth will be positively impacted by participation in sports and physical activities.
