Do you have a basic emergency supply kit?

The winter is approaching quickly bringing with it extreme weather conditions like snow, ice and wind. This can lead to power outages and other hazardous situations. In order to be prepared, be sure to have a basic emergency supply kit on hand at all times. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) suggests that everyone should have supplies on hand to survive for at least three days if an emergency occurs.
