Curbside recycling collection of yard waste started is on Monday for residents with a Tuesday - Friday garbage collection schedule and Tuesday for residents with a Monday - Thursday garbage collection schedule. Please remember to follow the guidelines. Yard waste must be placed in brown recyclable bags or loose in a reusable container with no liners. Each brown bag or container cannot weigh over 50 pounds.
Yard waste in plastic bags, landscaping barrels or not in a container will not be collected. Maximum of 4 bags and/or containers can be placed out weekly.
Recyclable Yard Waste materials include vegetation, plants, flowers, grass clippings and tree limbs or twigs two inches or less in diameter. Leaves are not picked up curbside, they can be brought down to the Leaf Compost Facility. Yard waste must be placed in brown recyclable bags, loose in a reusable sturdy container with no liner or cut into 3 ft. x 3 ft. sections tied. A maximum of 4 brown bags, containers or bundles at a time that cannot weigh over 50 pounds. Leaves, dirt, rocks, root balls, trees or tree stumps will not be collected.
