Wildcrafting With Acorns, Sat. Oct. 5th 2-4 pm
Go from inedible to delicious in this exploration of all thing’s acorn! Learn how to turn them into nutritious flour as we crack nuts around the fire pit and taste acorn bread. Bring acorns if you have them! Dress for outdoor weather around the campfire. Children must be accompanied by an adult; this is not a drop-off program.
COST: $8 members / $10 nonmembers

Lorrimer Sanctuary’s beloved Apple Cider Festival is back! Join us for Cider Press Demos, Kids Crafts, Selfie Stations, and Nature Walks! We love you a bushel and a peck, so we’ve brought back a Lorrimer fan favorite! Join us for Apple Cider Press Demos, Kids Crafts, Selfie Stations, and Nature Walks with help from our community and friends, we’re looking forward to a wonderful day full of fun fall activities! Supported by Almstead Tree, Shrub and Lawn Care

Fall Break at Lorrimer Sanctuary: $65; Kindergarten to 3rd grade, November 7th and 8th 9am-1pm
Join us for a fun-filled Fall Break at Lorrimer Sanctuary – a perfect way to enjoy the autumn season with outdoor activities and nature. Get ready for exciting outdoor activities, nature walks, and hands-on experiences for kids in kindergarten to 3rd grade. Explore the wonders of the sanctuary, learn about local wildlife, and make new friends in a safe and welcoming environment. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to create lasting memories this fall break!
This program is geared for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade (roughly 5y-9y). This program will take place mainly outdoors and participants should dress appropriately for weather conditions including closed-toed shoes. Participants should bring a lunch and reusable water bottle.
