Senior Transportation Information

A variety of transportation services are currently available to seniors and eligible residents over 18 with disabilities. They offer specific programs to our Seniors who are considering alternatives to driving their personal cars or depending on family and friends for transportation.

The services range from no-charge Bergen County bus and van routes, NJ Transit supported links, ITNs with nominal membership fees and very low mileage fees per trip, to Taxi and Uber-type services.

It’s important to understand how you use the service. Do you need handicap access and assistance, pick-up and return, along with purpose of trip i.e. medical appointments, shopping, visit friends/family, etc. and approximate mileage?

The following list is presented only for information. It does not constitute the Borough’s endorsement of a specific service. Residents are advised to thoroughly investigate each service to determine its suitability and reliability to best satisfy your specific requirements.
